Our Story

Welcome To Leadership Inclusive

In September 2011, diversity leaders from four of Nashville’s leading businesses came together to build relationships, exchange ideas, and support one another in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. What began as a small gathering quickly gained momentum as word spread, drawing in more like-minded professionals. Within six months, the group’s invitation list expanded exponentially, reflecting a growing need for collaboration among diversity leaders in the region.

By April 2012, the group formalized their efforts, leading to the establishment of the Leadership Inclusive. Committed to creating a positive community impact, the organization maintained its original purpose while broadening its reach. Today, it continues to serve as a hub for diversity professionals to connect, share best practices, and strengthen their leadership, advancing diversity and inclusion within organizations and the broader community.

By serving as a hub for best practices and innovative solutions, the consortium strengthens the collective efforts of businesses, institutions, and communities to create environments where all individuals feel valued and supported.
