Welcome to
Leadership Inclusive
In September 2011, diversity leaders from four Nashville businesses united to build relationships, exchange ideas, and support one another. What started as a small gathering quickly grew as word spread, drawing in more professionals. Within six months, the invitation list expanded exponentially, highlighting the need for collaboration. Now, in 2025, the TDC is entering a new chapter as Leadership Inclusive. After incorporating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024, the organization is stepping into this next phase with fresh energy and a broader vision. While the name is new, the heart of the work remains the same—bringing people together to strengthen their leadership, learn from one another, and drive meaningful change in their organizations and communities.
Our Mission
Leadership Inclusive exists to advance model practices for inclusive organizations into action. Recognizing that an increasing number of communities and organizations value diversity, our mission is to empower young and experienced professionals to transform their organizations into fair, respectful and psychologically safe places where everyone feels they belong.
Corporate, nonprofit, higher ed, municipal, K12 and consulting professionals in leadership, people, community, marketing and culture and engagement related roles take advantage of our resources. We are based in the Middle Tennessee Region, intentional about sharing our tools and resources across the southeastern U.S. but open to everyone who shares our mission.

Leadership Inclusive is committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable future by equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge, connections, and resources needed for meaningful change.
